Straight-lined playground design in a modern residential environment

The playground on Swinestrasse in Cologne is modern, linear and designed to fit in with the modern residential development. Divided into a facility for a residential building and a public playground, it offers a wide range of options for play, including climbing, discovery, slides and balancing.

The combination of the many individual elements creates a special playing experience.

Eye-catching: some 11 Mikado climbing poles in dusty pink, each 4 m high, encourage climbing. There are several balancing beams to tackle.  At different heights, children can gradually work up to a challenge and test their balancing skills. The Frankfurt-style double swing allows children to soar high beside each other.

There are rocking, wobbling and spinning elements, too.

The Polli seats provide a place to retreat, play or rest together, with a table and four seating bollards.
