CLIMBING GAME

In Schöneiche near Berlin, a wildly designed tree house with a balancing mikado has just been completed. Unedged wooden boards, naturally grown robinia trunks and sloping posts give this play area a uniquely untamed look.

The mix of wood, cordage and stainless steel invites you to feel the different materials under your fingers.

The balance of the climbers is put to the test on the balancing mikado made of a total of 17 balancing trunks of different heights and lengths. Holding and hanging ropes serve as an aid on the ascent to the tree house. If you're brave enough, you can try the narrow, corrugated balance tube.

Once you have overcome the Mikado route, you finally reach the tree house over the 2 meter long rope bridge.

The fastest way down from the tree house is via the sliding pole, the pole glider or the knotted rope. Anyone who hasn't climbed and balanced enough can always explore new paths on the balancing mikado.

If you like it less turbulent, you can find yourself in the triangular climbing and dwelling net.
