Ahoy, sailors and water lovers! How about play and fun combined with cool water? That’s exactly what’s on offer at the playground by the ship lift in Waltrop/Henrichenburg. Children can look forward to plenty of room for active, exuberant fantasy voyages, where water can be used in all sorts of ways.
Right at the start, the lock is commandeered and cranked in earnest so the ‘boat’ can set off on its journey; a few metres further on there’s a ferry crossing straight over the large body of water; and right at the back there’s a play tower complete with a telescope for keeping watch and a rotating crane. And in between: slides, climbing opportunities and swinging features.
